Information We Collect
We only gather the information that helps us provide phenomenal service:
- Contact Forms & Instant Audit: Name, email, phone (optional), business URL, and project goals that you submit so we can respond and deliver assessments.
- Client Communication: Messages, documents, and assets you share during a project so we can design, build, and maintain your site.
- Usage Data: Basic analytics such as page views, referral sources, and browser/device details that help us monitor site performance.
How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and deliver proposals.
- Generate instant audit reports and personalization inside our pricing tools.
- Improve site performance, troubleshoot issues, and protect against abuse.
- Send project updates, invoices, renewal notices, and other essential communications.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Ever.
Cookies & Third-Party Tools
We use lightweight analytics (currently Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our site. These tools may set cookies in your browser. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics tracking.
Forms are processed through Formspree. By submitting a form, the details you provide are routed through their secure infrastructure in order to deliver the message to our team.
Instant Audit & Abuse Prevention
The Instant Audit tool is free, and we want to keep it that way. To prevent a small number of users from running unlimited audits against our paid PageSpeed quota, we apply two lightweight protections when you submit the audit form:
- Device fingerprint: Your browser generates a short identifier locally (derived from characteristics like browser, OS, and screen size). This hash is stored alongside your IP address in Cloudflare KV for up to one hour, solely to rate-limit audits to a reasonable number per device.
- IP address: We temporarily store the IP address of the request for the same window, for the same purpose.
We do not use the fingerprint for advertising, cross-site tracking, profile building, or any purpose beyond preventing abuse of this free tool. The data auto-expires after the rate-limit window and is never shared with third parties. If you'd rather not use the Instant Audit, our contact form works without fingerprinting.
The audit itself is performed by Google's PageSpeed Insights service. The URL you submit is sent to Google so they can render and analyze it — the same thing that happens when you run a PageSpeed Insights test directly at pagespeed.web.dev.
Data Retention & Security
- Form submissions are stored for as long as needed to respond and deliver services.
- Client project files are retained for the duration of our engagement plus any legally required period.
- Access to data is restricted to UI Compass team members who need it to fulfill their roles.
- We host projects on secure, reputable platforms (such as Netlify and Cloudflare) and keep software up to date.
Your Rights & Choices
You can request to:
- Access, update, or delete the personal data we have about you.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
- Receive a copy of your project files when your engagement ends.

Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new services, vendors, or regulatory requirements. When we make changes, we’ll revise the “Last Updated” date below and, if the update is significant, notify you directly.
